Pet care experience
I'm Patrick! I'm a dog sitter and walker with a lifetime of experience and a big heart. I grew up with rescue dogs and was always taught to respect and love animals. I was born in NY but raised here in New Orleans. I’m a volunteer at the Louisiana SPCA and love being around animals. I am excited to meet you and your dog and treat them like they were my own. I only take on one client at a time so I can provide the most love, attention, and exercise. However, if you have 2 dogs in the same household I am open to taking that on! I don't have any "preferences"/bias toward breeds. I am proficient in Spanish as well. I live in the 7th ward near the Bayou Rd area. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

My husband and I traveled to NOLA for a family gathering and used Patrick to watch our dog, Radley for two nights. Upon meeting Patrick, I knew we found an excellent Rover sitter. He immediately sat on the floor and started introducing himself/petting/playing with Radley. He was so kind and gentle and compassionate towards her. He updated us on her periodically throughout our vacation (something we asked him to do). Overall, I highly recommend using Patrick. We think he did a great job. Thank you Patrick!

Some things I would like to know about your dog include their favorite toys/treats, unique habits and/or fears, and if they have a favorite walking spot. I grew up always having 2 rescue golden retrievers at a time and I helped raise a past roommates' puggle puppy for almost 2 years. With these experiences, plus volunteering, I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes.
A typical day
I am open to anything needed to meet the needs of you and your dog when it comes to the details, arrangements, and specifics. I am conscientious about timeliness and will always be sure your dog gets out for a potty break on time! I will go above and beyond to put your dog's needs before my own. If there is a park or favorite spot near your home, we can walk and play there. Anytime I visit or check on a dog, I will always provide a good walk and time outside regardless! I will always leave you a note with my arrival and departure time as well as information about my visit, where we went to walk, etc. I can also use the app for this if you prefer.
