Pet care experience
My husband, Patrick, and I are lifelong dog owners. We bought our current house for our dog - seriously. We wanted a big backyard for him to play in. Now he just needs the friends to play with! Finn is an eight year old golden retriever who's never met a human or dog he didn't like (cats on the other hand are still scary). He's slowing down a bit as he ages, but still likes to play for shorter bursts. Ginger is a three year old golden who loves playtime, as long as it’s followed by snuggles - either with her humans or with her brother. Our house is very pet friendly and we love hosting furry friends, but will follow your rules (on/off furniture, kenneling, etc.) for your dogs. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play.

Ashley and Patrick take such great care of our cat. That’s why they are the first people we go to each and every time we need someone to care for our cat.
Patrick and Ashley are our favorites! They’re the best kind of dog people, and Toby loves them. They checked in on Toby right when we asked, left pictures, and we went out of town knowing our dog was in the best care. They are our first contact for dog sitters anytime we leave!
Patrick and Ashley were fantastic for our dogs while we had them close by before they had to move. Absolutely no complaints and highly recommend them to anyone who needs drop ins!

A typical day
We'll play with our large toy inventory, chase and fetch big sticks in the backyard, and go on walks to many nearby parks. Our own dogs are incredibly friendly and love playing with each guest.

Availability
I work from home full time. Because of this, my own dogs have come to understand the "hang up sound" from meetings means it's time for attention or to go outside. With this schedule, there is plenty of attention and outside activity. When it's nice outside, I set up my outdoor office on the patio to spend as much time outside as possible.
