Hello, my name is Patricia and I am a graduate from UNC Chapel Hill. I currently work at Duke as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator. I work full time remotely and attend classes in Winston Salem . I am dedicated to providing the highest-quality care to my clients. I had 2 large dogs for most of my my life (I currently have no pets). One of them is 12 years old with arthritis and poor sight, therefore requiring a tremendous amount of patience. The other is 11 years old and has become very lethargic with a lack of appetite, as well as being diagnosed with dog vertigo. Seeing my dogs age has given me a significant amount of experience with puppies, seniors, and dogs of all sizes. I understand that every dog is unique with their own set of needs, quirks, and energy level. I have administered medication orally as well as through the ears. I am the go-to individual my friend's and family reach out to when they go out of town and need a sitter.

Before I dog sit I would prefer to know what extra services (if any) are desired, how often the dog should be let out or taken for a walk, and behavioral issues, medication needs, and allergies the dog may have. I find it helpful to include any information about your dogs quirks and things I should keep and eye out for.
A typical day
I always enjoy going to parks and walking for exercise. I would be more than willing to do this or go somewhere different if the client prefers. I also encourage the use of toys during play time/ exercise.

Availability
I am available Tuesday-Thursday and weekends. I have clinicals all day Monday and Friday so I am unavailable but can come after (3:30pm). I am happy to set up a routine schedule with clients.
