Hi, my name is Patricia but typically go by Patty. ■ NOTE■ ● Your pet will still receive the absolute best care while in our home, that will never change but some of our "rules" have. Due to incidents beyond our control, we have had to make a few changes for our safety as well as our pets. Your pet will still be loved and treated as if they were our own. That means they get lots of love and attention while here! We follow whatever rules and routine you have at home! If you have any questions or concerns please message me! My response time will vary but I will get back with you as quickly as possible. - Puppies: Will be considered on a case by case basis. - All over night stays require that your dog must be kennel trained and house trained. This includes puppies. I try to be home the entire time your dog is in my care but there may be times I need to leave for a short period. During those times they will need to be kenneled to keep them safe and protect our property. - This does not apply to previous clients: Unaltered males are on a case by case basis. I will need to speak with you in depth about the dog's behavior, temperament, etc. - We will only board one clients dog(s) at a time. Although my availability may show a spot for 3 boards, once I am booked by one client those days are no longer available for other clients. This has always been our policy but it needs to be reiterated. - If there are any issues such as destruction of property, aggression towards humans, or I discover your dog is neither kennel nor house trained, we will require you to pick your dog up or make different arrangements. We will do our best to help you find different arrangements and refund you for days that were not used. I have extensive dog training experience ranging from IED detection to basic obedience. I am well versed in K9 diet, including custom diets to accommodate a variety of health care needs, and first aide. I have three dogs, Charger, Miss Jo, and Allen. Charger is a 10 year old female, she is a retired military working dog. Miss Jo is a 10 year old cattle dog, she is no longer herding horses but children instead. Allen is a mix breed, he is just over a year old and he keeps us on our toes. All three are fixed, well mannered and behave well for the most part. They all like to counter surf and steal food though. We also have two children in our home. Our oldest is 6 years old and our youngest is 1. We never allow our children to be left alone with dogs, even our own. Our youngest does not climb, pull, kick, or slap animals of any kind. Our oldest learned from an early age to respect dogs and to treat them with kindness. We are teaching our youngest to do the same. We have worked with them both extensively to train them as much as we have trained our dogs. It may sound like we are all business around here but things are typically pretty relaxed. I have no breed or size restrictions, we love all dogs. I am incredibly flexible with dates, times, pick up, drop off etc. I think that about covers everything!
