Pet care experience
I am the definition of an animal lover!! I do this FULL TIME and I am pretty much your dog’s best friend during his or her stay with me. I have taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I come from a family of animal lovers - especially dogs! We always had a dog that we took in from either from a family that could no longer care for him/her or adopted. Throughout my lifetime I have had 4 German Shepherds, one Collie/Shepherd mix, and one Yorkie (all who lived very long and happy lives). I am experienced with caring for large breeds as well as small. My last baby Tacobella (Yorkie) passed away 2 years ago at the age of 15 and I haven't had the heart to get another dog yet because of the pain it caused me to part with her. I treat dogs as good as humans if not better =) My friends know that they can always count on me to doggy sit their babies when they are away on vacation as I gladly welcome and love the company of them with me in my home. I have experience with training younger puppies as well as experience with caring for senior dogs. I have had dogs who have a lot of separation anxiety as well and I know how it is to be an owner and dog separating from each other (one day can seem like a lifetime!) So I know the importance of having someone there you can trust. Every animal I meet and interact with warms up to me very quickly. Once I meet and interact with your dog I guarantee that you will feel 100% comfortable with leaving your dog in my care! I have taken care/or interacted with almost EVERY BREED of dog and know their specific habits, mentality etc. along with their other unique characteristics. I also LOVE taking plenty of photos of your babies and sharing them with you as well. Please feel free to message me with any questions at all!

My first time using the Rover app and service. Patricia is amazing, my Malinois can be really anxious in a new environment and when meeting new people. But after meeting Patricia he was calm like being home. I truly felt comfortable leaving my pup with Patricia and plan on doing so more regularly in the future. I highly recommend booking her!
Patricia was so accommodating to do a meet and greet with us first and then also to modify our original booking. Chase was so excited to go on a walk with her and will definitely be booking with her again!
Patricia did an excellent job accommodating a last minute trip during the holidays! She kept me updated on Mia’s status and kept my mind at ease! I’ll definitely rebook her!
I’m so glad we found Patricia to watch our dog Jasper. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Jasper was in great hands with someone that loves and understands our dog’s needs.

I usually walk in my local neighborhood. I live in a house with a large backyard so there’s plenty of room for your dog to run around! If your dog is higher energy and the owner is comfortable with a short car ride I do like to bring dogs to Overpeck Park which is huge and has very long trails which they seem to enjoy. I can also bring dogs (upon request) to dog parks if their dog likes to play with other dogs. However, I do keep the dogs i sit away from other dogs for the safety of the dog that I am sitting (UNLESS the owner specifically requests me to bring them to a dog park to interact with others) If I am caring for your dog in your area you can tell me your routine of how and where your dog likes to be walked or play and I will gladly do the same for him/her so you are both comfortable. I will provide plenty of pictures as well throughout the day so that you can see your baby is in good hands! If you have any questions at all before booking me for a stay please ask! I am here to make you and your baby comfortable. I also do meet and greets so you can see that I am a good fit for you and your baby. I am that crazy animal lover that pretty much lives and breathes animals! It brings me happiness to spend time with all different types of dog breeds and personalities! I have pretty much watched every type of dog breed and have multiple repeat dogs that I have built a great relationship with! I also get excited and LOVE meeting and caring for new dogs as well. I take pride in the way I care for dogs because I know for a fact my relationship with them is like no other! I also provide free round trip pick up and drop offs for boarding (if you reside within 5 miles). If further than that I add a small fee for picking up and dropping off.

A typical day
I have lots of energy to run around, play fetch, tug of war, etc. with your dog if that’s what he/she prefers or we can go for a slow walk and relax/cuddle if it’s a senior dog. I adapt to the animals needs and make sure that he/she feels comfortable and happy.
