I’ve always believed that dogs should be the recipients of the best care possible. I became a sitter to make sure that happens! Pups are so important in our lives, so I’m always happy to give back to them and provide them with the love and happiness that they need to thrive. It’s great meeting new pups and clients from all over, and I love the fact that I can give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. That’s why being a sitter is a dream come true! I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and finally have the time to give back to them now that I am semi-retired! In addition to being a long-time dog lover, I’m currently an owner to three rescue dogs myself. I am the happy dog mom to an Australian Cattle Dog, an energetic Jack Russell mix, and an elderly Min-Pin with lots of attitude. They all require some degree of special care and attention to health or behavioral issues, so I definitely have some experience attending to that. I’m happy to take on pups with similar issues so long as I have clear instructions for their care. When taking on a new client, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way for us to make sure that we’re a good fit for each other, which is so important when building trust with your pup. I also think that it’s a great opportunity for us to chat face-to-face about your care expectations, so I can get a good picture of what makes your pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs, so I’d never pass up the opportunity to do so. I have no breed restrictions aside from one, which is that I do not take on large, aggressive dogs. Outside of that, everyone is welcome by me!
