Pet care experience

Pets have been part of my family all my life. Not only have I enjoyed taking care of my pets, but I have been pet-sitting, both in-home and away, since my first work experience doing it as a teenager. I am most familiar with dogs and have cared for those of all sizes, ages, energy-levels, and even those with disabilities and special-needs. And while I have less experience with cats, know that I would always want your feline to have everything they need, be it space or snuggles. As well, I have even pet-sat the occasional pig! I am available full-time throughout the week with my preferred hours falling between late mornings and evenings, but can be flexible depending on you or your pet's needs. I am looking to become a regular caretaker for the pets and clients I work with and build some scheduled routines of walking, play-visits, or sitting that all parties can depend on. Even if visits are sparse, I never want to be a stranger to your pet.

Patricia always comes when she says she will, and she is infinitely kind to dogs and people. Highly recommended.

Patricia is amazing, has made my life so much easier and less stressful while I’m at work since I know she’ll take my doggo out for a walk and relieve after long hours at home. And my boy loooooves her.

Patricia’s always been great with my giant, slow bear of a dog. 10/10

Information Patricia H. would like to know about your pet

I would like to be told of their typical energy and aggression levels (lazy to hyperactive, excessively friendly, i.e. forceful hugger, to standoffish or defensive). So long as your pet isn't dangerous, I have no preferences and would be happy to work with them no matter where they fall on these spectrums. Also please let me know of any likes and dislikes they may have. I want to know what to give and keep away from your pet to keep them at their happiest.

A typical day

My preference would be to walk them around the neighborhood where they're staying, so either near and around your home or my apartment. I am more than open to taking them to a local dog park like the Danny Jackson Family Bark Park off of 610 or the Officer Lucy Dog Park near Braeswood Place if you would like them to have some time off their leash. And let me know what your pet likes to do. I am always up for a run or a good game of catch the laser pointer if that's what they need.
