Pet care experience
As a true animal lover, I grew up with and took care of a pack of dogs. Whenever my friends or neighbors left town, I always volunteered my time to take care of and comfort their furry family members. All breeds and ages are welcome and will be treated with the upmost respect, kindness, and love. As a life-long doggy parent, I have done everything from trained puppies to nursed sick and senior dogs. Your furry family member will be in great hands.

Bear stayed with Patricia and her mom for a week while we were out of the country , I didn’t have to worry at all about Bears well being ! He’s always in good hands ❤️❤️❤️
Our girls love staying with Patricia and she takes such good care of them!! I Highly Recommend booking with her 😊
Talk about hands on doggy daycare ! This is Bears second family . From being so shy and skittish of strangers at first , everytime they take him in to babysit he’s soooo excited and wiggles uncontrollably. Thank you again ! I never have to worry about his well being when he’s with you ! :)
She has been very supportive of my family. With great love, she reached out to my family, who were sick and not feeling well. Thank you very much. And I will definitely ask her for next opportunity.

I live in a single floor home with a small fenced yard on the front and large yard in the back. There is plenty of greenery nearby including a park and I am close to downtown. I love to go on walks. My mother lives with me and misses having multiple dogs to dote on within the home. There are plenty of friendly dogs in the neighborhood and a dog park is close by. Basically, your furry family member will become an extended part of my own family. If you need help with doggy socialization, then I know plenty of dogs both big and small that are social and can meet for playtime.

All breeds are welcome, especially the ones that are deemed by society to be “aggressive.” I have considerable experience with dogs having such a label, including having had 2 pit bulls that are currently in dog heaven. I just need to know this about your furry family member: His/her temperament; level of socialization with other dogs (yes/no or extrovert/introvert); energy level; any medical issues or administration of medicine schedule; whether housebroken or not; and anything else of importance. I keep a clean and orderly house, so doggy accidents are no problem. I have wood floors with rugs. I’m an expert at carpet cleaning with a machine since I had senior dogs with bladder issues in the past. I regularly clean my carpet once a week and vacuum/mop daily. Basically, I do not discriminate when it comes to dogs, as I know how difficult it was for me to find someone to watch my pit bulls in emergencies. I lived in Chicago and frequented all of the dog parks and learned about doggy socialization there, especially by hiring and working with trainers. It’s all about what are your expectations and preferred outcomes for your dog, as I know they are a valuable member of your family!
A typical day
We will walk in the neighborhood and go by the grassy areas near the two lakes. We can visit a dog park and go for drives (some dogs love to be on an adventure). Perhaps even meet new friends if the dog permits meeting new dogs in my neighborhood or with people I know. We will play with toys provided or I’ll get the toys and keep them on hold just for your furry family member. There can be naps even together on the couch or bed. Nothing is off limits, just ask!

I am completely flexible at the moment, as I am working on finishing my doctorate, which means I’m home pretty much all of the time. I am looking to bond with some stellar dogs and provide a calming environment, as boarding pets was never my preference for my own dogs. Currently, I am not a pet parent, as I lost both of my senior dogs not too long ago. Since dogs are irreplaceable, I prefer to take the time to provide care for others before I decide when and how many dogs to add to my home. This is a pleasure for me because I get to do my daily walks with a furry friend once again. Pups are never left unattended for a moment.
