PAWSitive Pet Sitting

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm Trisha! I have been married for a little over 5 years to my husband Shawn. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) Drop off and pick up are as followed: Drop Offs: before 6:30am are an additional $10.00 Pick ups: after 8pm will be an additional $1.00 per minute unless prior arrangements have been made with Shawn or myself. Also we have a $20.00 off your first booking with us, for you! (Can only be used for our services) please ask for coupon code! Have a great day. And we look forward to caring for your Fur-Babies🐱🐕🐶🐩🐺🐈

Trisha was a great dog and house sitter. Our two young dogs were happy to see us come home but it was clear that they had been well taken care of. They ate well, which shows that they weren't stressed about our absence. They had obviously had a lot of attention. I recommend Trish wholeheartedly for anyone else. Karen

Patricia was great! Samson was made to feel as part of the family for the week and we couldn't be happier! Video updates were sent throughout the week so we could see how he was doing.

Patricia was able to accommodate my dog on very short notice. From the videos I got, my dog had a blast while she was there.

Information Patricia D. would like to know about your pet

Are their shots up to date? What is the temperament of your Fur Kid? How many meals a day do they get? Do they need to eat alone? Are they on daily medications? If so, for what. What is their medical history? Do they do well with children? Other animals? House broken? When should potty breaks be given and how many? Pet treats? Do you reward based on the pet’s behavior. And anything else you feel we should know would greatly increase your pets care!

A typical day

Activities they can expect: daily walks, playing ball, chasing a 10 yr old around, wrestling with a 10 yr old. Long naps where ever they choose, up to 3 meals a day (dependant on their meal restrictions), snacks through out the day, car rides to doggie park (dependant on social skills) and much more!
