Pet care experience
As an animal lover, vet assistant and pet sitter, I've owned and worked with a wide variety of animals including guinea pigs, mice, cats, birds, dogs, horses, etc. I have a unique mix of animals—a dog, three cats, a gecko and a guinea pig—and make it a priority of mine to know proper care for all animals and advocate for their well being. I have volunteered at horse sanctuaries as well as animal shelters, including fostering many animals over the years.

Patricia has watched my cat multiple times. She does such a good job- gives him lots of attention, checks the litter box, and gives fresh water. I would highly recommend her!!
Trisha was great walking our senior shiba inu Gatsby! She was so communicative when we booked with her weeks before we traveled out of town and took great care of our stubborn pup. We’ll definitely schedule with her again in the future :)
Thank you Patricia for checking in on my cat, especially for coming early in the morning on one of the days. One future request might be that it would be nice to get more photos throughout the full visit rather than just 1-2. It helps me know she ate well and played well during the 30 minute visit since I tend to worry when I'm away. The first day my cat seemed to not eat well (not anyone's fault) so I was a little extra nervous to hear how she was doing. Still came home to a sweet and happy cat.

I use positive reinforcement methods only when interacting with animals. If they need special care of any kind, I’m happy to provide it if it’s within my skillset—given my profession, I am knowledgeable about care regarding all sorts of health issues. I’ll also provide you with regular photo updates, so you can feel secure and comfortable while away from your pets!

A typical day
While in my care, every animal gets lots and lots of love and attention—or none, if that’s what they prefer! On walks, I always ensure that dogs get to sniff all the things. Mental enrichment is just as important as physical! Cats receive lots of love, respect, and play in whatever way they like best!
