Pet care experience
Hey Y'all... I am a mid-twenty year old who lives on the Upper East Side. I love animals especially cats and dogs and have been around them my entire life; whether it be watching a dog for a friend who is away, working at the local humane society in the town I grew up, or enjoying their company in my own home :) Furthermore, I am an extremely active person and love the outdoors, exceptionally organized, and love helping people out. I love taking dogs for walks and even runs (to give both of us exercise). I live right by the East River and Randall's Island...perfect for a run/walk. I have a soft spot in my heart for animals so I will make sure that I will tend to every need of your dog. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs growing up. Since we had two cats at home I would constantly want to go over to my friends' houses so that I could play with their dogs. I would also work at the humane society within my hometown. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication. I fostered three very sick 4-week old kittens one time. That required a lot of medical attention.

Patch was great! He was helpful and flexible to fit our schedule. He also regularly sent us photos and updates about our cat, helping us feel at ease while we were away.
I've had the pleasure of subletting in Patch's apartment for the past month and he's been great to live with! I've seen how he cares for his cat Benny and always manages to make time to play with him when he comes home. I know Patch will make a great dog sitter, especially after seeing how responsible and caring he is.
I've known Patch David for almost two years now. I can wholeheartedly say that he is one of the most responsible individuals that I have in my life at the moment. He is a man of his word, and goes above and beyond the call of duty in whatever activity he pursues. He is also a devoted animal lover. He is one of those people, that will always stop on the street to pet or play with a dog or your occasional cat. I can think of no better person that would take care of your pets; treating them like it was his own.

I do not have any breed preferences when it comes to taking care of your dog. I would, however, find it useful to know your dog's behavioral traits and any specific medications/complications that should be known. Also…what is his/her favorite toy :)
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I feel as though it is important to spend as much time with the dog as you usually would during your day. Therefore, we would play and go for a walk at least a couple of times a day. That time would be filled with quality time spent with your dog…not a quick five minute hit and run. Extra house-sitting services I'm more than happy to watch over your home for you while you are away.
