***** I AM HOME ALL DAY! *****

Pet care experience

Convenient to DFW airport, Six Flags, Cowboy Stadium! IMPORTANT: Dropoff and pickup times are limited to between the hours of 7am and 8pm and occasionally must be coordinated carefully due to my new work schedule (still from home) but we will continue to be as accommodating as possible. We are celebrating eight years on Rover.com, and we love it!! My helpers are my husband, Tim, and my adult daughter, Devika. Tim and I both grew up on a farm or in a farming community in northwest Oklahoma and had the pleasure of being raised with many different types of animals. My kids, although raised in the city inherited a love for all things furry. I work from home and am home all day to love and care for your pet. We have a couple of small dogs of our own. We also volunteer with the Texas Ferret Lovers Rescue and normally have 3-4 ferrets (caged in their own room) who are here as permanent fosters because they're too old or sick to be adopted. Our home is extremely pet-friendly and pet safe. We have a large backyard with a privacy fence. For safety, one corner of the yard is fenced off as a dog run and separates dogs from the pool. Dogs are allowed the run of the entire yard only when I am outside to supervise. All animals in our care are given plenty of room to run and time to play, however, are never left outside for an extended time in extreme heat, cold, or after dark. Our cat guests have their own room within the house (my office room) with a window view to the backyard where they can lay and watch the birds and squirrels and other backyard happenings. We don't like crates or pens and seldom use them. We love your babies like our own. We are experienced in giving oral medication as well as injections. I am currently working from home and have plenty of time to give to our dog and cat guests. My daughters and husband are here as well and all are animal lovers. Our yard is fenced with 6 to 8 foot privacy fence all around. We have small dogs and normally keep only small to medium size dogs.

Pat was wonderful with our baby kitty! She loved him like he was her own and he came home and was his just as sweet as when we left. I have never boarded an animal before and was worried he might be a different kitty, but he was completely perfect. If you're looking for top-quality care and lots of pics while you're away from your 4 legged baby, Pat is the perfect fit!

Information Pat Y. would like to know about your pet

I am unable to keep any dog known to be aggressive, or breeds considered to be aggressive. I also have limits with regards to large dogs in general. My 88-year-old mother recently moved in with me. She gets around with a cane and because of this many large dogs, especially if young and energetic are not a good fit for our home.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks: Upon request we walk through the neighborhood and occasionally as far as the local park, but most often our doggie guests are simply allowed to explore in our own backyard. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: It depends. We want your pet to be comfortable. Wherever they normally sleep at home whether in their own bed, in their kennel or in a human bed snuggled beside their human and beneath the blanket we try to provide a similar experience here. Time I'll spend with your dog: We are a multi-generational family (kids, mom, grandma). At least one adult is in the home nearly 100% of the time. Many days we are all home the entire day. Your pet will get an abundance of love and affection.
