Looking for a caring & experienced person for your pet ? I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes. About my house: I live in a fairly large house with a large fenced, padlocked gated yard and access directly to trails. It is important your pet is on flea and tick medication prior to arriving as I live near highly wooded areas. About our day: I am available from 7am to 7pm unless otherwise requested. (Earlier and later drop offs may be requested). We will usually eat in the mornings, take some time to play, and then head to the trails or a near by park to work off some energy. I prefer to spend most of my time outdoors on nice days, which means your dog will too! This might include lounging outside, walking trails near my house, or traveling to local hiking spots. In the evening, most of the time your pet will be too tired to play more after such a full day of playing, smelling and adventuring, but when those bursts of energies occur, well def hit the tug of war a good ball chase or stuffy throw. After an evening feeding, another walk and then time for bed! Dogs may sleep wherever they choose unless otherwise specified by owner. (Specific dog bed etc) About you & your dog; Please fill out the questionnaire to help me get to know you and your dog better. It helps me make sure your dog will be a good fit in the event I have other dogs in my home at the time. ***please note these questions are just to help me prepare for your dog and in no way will cause me to say no to you and your pet. I have dealt with some level of reactivity and minor behavior issues in dogs before. At this time, I cannot take dogs who have high levels of dog reactivity without a meet & greet first as there will be other dogs in the home . *** Questionnaire: 1. Are there any dog reactivity concerns ? (Likes some dogs but not others etc) if so, what does it look like when that happens? 5. Are there any human reactivity concerns? If so, what does Your dogs behavior look like when that happens? 6. Are there any other reactivity concerns I should be aware of ? (Small prey, leash etc) 7. Does your dog have any injuries, medications, allergies, movement restrictions etc I should be aware of ? 8. Is your dog on flea and tick meds and up to date on immunizations ? 9. Is there anything else you would like for me to know about your pet ?

Parisa is a life saver! I have four dogs who aren’t the easiest to handle but I had an unexpected family emergency so I requested last minute but she was available! I was able to tend to my family and get daily updates about my feisty four lol! It was a huge relief to know the other members of my family were all taken care of. And When I came back, the house was sparkling clean too. She even groomed my pets and vacuumed the house. If you’re going away please consider Parisa! I highly recommend.
Parisa was very good with sending photos and gifs during her time with my small dog, and she wrote updates that seemed like she enjoyed her time with him and vice versa. She brought in the mail and packages. The plants' soil was dry when I returned though she may have watered them at the beginning of the week. When my return travel flights were cancelled and there was the potential that I would return a day later, Parisa was flexible and said she could stay one more day if needed - it ended up not being necessary. However, it's not clear that she actually slept in the house as the booking requested. Upon return I found 3 recent pee puddles; the dog does not pee in the house unless he's sick, hasn't been out for 5+ hours (except overnight), or potentially as a "protest" - this has not happened before but I'm willing to consider it as this was 7 days away, the longest I had ever left him before). Several rooms in the apartment stunk like dog urine, and took several hours to clean up - likely will take more time/effort to clear the smell out. Parisa offered to pay for carpet cleaning, which was generous, though I didn't want to take advantage of her financially, and know that professional cleaning is expensive, so I declined. The fresh bedsheets which had been left folded up were in the washing machine - partially still folded; the fresh roll of toilet paper I put out was still new; the one cup I left in the sink was still there, along with one spoon likely used for the wet dog food; it seemed the bed, the toilet, and the kitchen were unused. I also asked her if my dog coughed at all during the week - he has allergies and I have medicine in case it's needed. She said he didn't, but when I returned he was coughing in the evening before bed and in the morning (the usual times he coughs when his allergies act up). All in all, the dog seemed generally well-cared for and with no severe issues, so I'm grateful for the walking and the time she did spend with him. I suspect though that she did not sleep in the house and was not truthful about that, which made me question some of the other communications as well.
My pup loves spending her days with Parisa! I'm good at last minute bookings, but Parisa is super quick to respond. Her communication is amazing overall - I appreciate that she sends pictures and updates throughout the stay. Overall, her home is a fun, familiar, safe place for my senior girl. She enjoys her time with Parisa and always comes home happy and tuckered out.
Parisa was great with Yona to the point that he would not let her leave. Looks like a permanent bond is established , it takes a lot of patience to care for a teething 11 weeks old puppy

I tend to spend most of my day outside. I prefer to hike, walk and explore new areas to adventure. We spend a lot of time roaming through regional red wood trails, at lake Merritt or alameda beach trails

Availability
My schedule is 7am to 7pm. However earlier or later drop off/pick up may be available depending on your needs. I am home most of the day, and if I do need to Leave it is only for one hour and if there is another person in the home to supervise the dogs
