Pet care experience
While I may not be as experienced in the pet care world, providing services for our furry friends is truly my passion. I recently moved away from my own family dog who just turned 10, and I found myself missing not only her companionship, but the role of advocating and caring for our pets who can not communicate with us directly. I have had previous volunteer experience in the Bay Area in a dog and cat shelter, and have recently been pet sitting for a colleague's puppy who just turned 6 months. I also have a soft spot for senior dogs, who often need more specialized attention than young pups. I am prepared to take care of all pets, young and old, and hope you will consider me as a part of your efforts to create the best life for your pet!

Paola was absolutely amazing! I cannot thank her enough! I had family in town for the weekend and to my luck, our pup went into heat HOURS before Paola was set to come. I contacted her to see if she was still comfortable coming over and she did not hesitate! She was so caring, sweet and gentle with our Ginger. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the day. It was my first time using rover, and I was not disappointed! Cannot thank and recommend her enough!
Paola did such a great job watching Lono while we were off island. We got pictures, videos, and updates every day of them playing and having a great time! She was great with him and he adjusted very quickly to her. I hope she's available next time we need a dog sitter!
Paola is a wonderful and caring young adult. She has experience with animals as she grew up taking care and loving her own dog. She loves animals in general, and she knows the meaning of the words "commitment" and "responsibility". She understand how important is a pet for its owner and she will be the right person to trust to take care of your pet.
Paola is the perfect dog sitter for many reasons: • She cares for all animals, not just dogs. • She is intelligent, responsible, and communicates well and frequently. • She is resourceful, quick to think on her feet, and should be able to handle emergency situations if those were ever to arise. • Having grown up with a dog (and best friend) of her own, she has the hands-on experience, and understanding to care for your best friend too.

Unfortunately, the room I am currently renting does not allow pets. While I will not be able to provide services out of my own home, I am more than happy to come to you for your pet care needs! I have remained athletic through sports and dance in my college career, giving me the stamina (I hope!) to keep up with your pet's energy. While running is really not my style, I am open to long walks (up to 5 miles) which will stimulate your dogs while tiring them out. I also have my boyfriend, Alex, who is a very kind and caring person. He is a middle school STEM teacher and has two pugs of his own at home, and is willing to accompany me to provide your pets with extra love on Friday afternoons and weekends, given your consent and comfortability.

Availability
I am a recent college grad, who just moved out to the island. I am openly looking for work opportunities (Rona made it rough out here), which means I have plenty of availability for taking care of pets each week! I am currently looking for part-time jobs outside of dog sitting, so I will be available to continue any ongoing relationships with pets and their owners if I am able to secure a job (fingers crossed)! I sincerely hope that I am able to make and continue relationships with you and your pets during my time here.
