I absolutely love dogs. I worked in a dog kennel with 31 dogs for six months and volunteered at a kennel with 19 dogs in Finland for two months. I've handled dogs to hook them up to carts and sleds. I've driven sleds and carts with five dogs around short tracks. I've overseen play groups of three dogs. I am trained to do health checks. I have experience issuing water IVs to dogs. I've walked dogs following specifications from kennels managers along set routes and through trails. I also have experience dealing with dogs encountering wildlife including porcupines and moose. I've done dog sitting for co-workers and friends in the past. I really enjoy spending time with dogs even if I have a full-time job doing it already. Currently available anytime for dog care. I live off of Browns Lake Rd but am willing to travel to Soldotna and Kenai for overnight and day sitting dogs. I will have to have an additional reason to travel to town for walking or drop in visits. My property is not yet set up for dogs so I will be bringing dogs to the local dog park or to local hiking spots for any day care activities. They will be accompanied by my two service dog trained Alaskan huskies. My car is equipped with water, a dog hammock and treats at all times.
