I work as a dog groomer, within walking distance of my home. There is some flexibility in my schedule, but on my busiest day I could expect to be gone from 8am-6pm. My schedule is: Tuesday - Saturday Sunday and Monday: OFF My dogs are fed once in the morning, and again in the evening, accompanied by walks.

It’s a studio apartment, but I have made it as comfortable as possible for Dudley, and all my pet guests, as I have for myself. All dogs are invited to find a cozy spot on any of the many dog beds I have, as well as any furniture or floor space!

Information Pamela S. would like to know about your pet
I like to schedule meet and greets ahead of time to see if your pup is a good fit with my dogs. In that time, you’ll be able to see where your dog will be staying, and ask any questions of me. I can also get the details of your expectations during your dog’s visit. If you decide to book with me, there is the potential of sharing that time slot with another boarder. I am very careful about scheduling dogs together based on temperament. If I have any reservations of clients not being a good fit, I will not have them stay at the same time.
A typical day
Your pup will get plenty of companionship, both from me and my dog, and will look forward to at least 2 long walks during the day, and a quick potty break before bed.

Hi! I'm Pamela, a professional dog groomer in Astoria. I live with my dog Dudley, a 12 lb. dachshund mix, and have opened up my home for other little furry friends to stay short and long term. Professionally, I have more than 14 years experience working with animals. Puddle likes to get into things if he’s not being supervised, so he is crated while I’m gone. Though Dudley has free roam of the apartment, others of my dogs have been crated during the day while I’m at work. I understand that pet parents may have different expectations, and I am fully able to accommodate those when I have charge of your dog. I like to think of myself as an extension of Mommy and Daddy:-)

Pamela is an amazing dog sitter. She radiates positive energy and kindness and it’s easy to see why dogs love staying with her. She’s very communicative and sends lots of pictures. We left our dog with her and she came back happy and healthy. I can’t recommend her enough!
