Growing up we weren't allowed to have any pets in our apartment. I always wanted a puppy to take care of but never got one. In college I rescued a cat and took him home with me. Again, my parents said I couldn't keep her because our building didn't allow it. We've lived there there for so long, I convinced the landlord to accept. One of my jobs out of college was working at a farmers market and my idea to include the neighborhood was having a puppy photo day. It was a huge success and some people started asking me to watch their pets. I did it seldomly and not for long as I transitioned to another job. Also, one of our markets was right near the ASPCA center where I helped out for one summer. It's just a rewarding experience but I couldn't stay long because I would get too emotional about the sad stories of some of the pets. Long story short, animals are great! They are unconditionally affectionate and loyal. Would love to take care of your pet!
