Thanks so much! :) You are here because you are like me as a fur parent. You are looking for a person who you feel fully assured that your family member will get the same care that you give. You want to leave home knowing that, without a doubt, your dog will feel safe, loved and trust the person who is charged with their care. You want to know your home will be respected in your absence and left as you would leave it. If your sending your sweet pup to another’s home, that place would be clean, comfortable, and safe. That is why you are here. Prior to Covid, I owned a highly regarded boutique dog boarding business in Northern California. I had the dream job of all dream jobs. I cared for dogs I loved and clients I adored. Covid was hard on my small business, as people stopped traveling and not requiring pet care, so with a heavy heart, I closed Bird Hill boarding. Although a loss, it wasn’t all bad as my husband and I made a long time dream of moving to New Mexico a reality. We’ve been here a year and still need to pinch ourselves. Back in California is where I gained years of experience in pet care. I learned how to manage a multitude of breeds and their distinct personalities, I learned what people wanted out of their pet services, and l gained a wealth of knowledge working for a respected training business. I’ve been on Rover before so I understand what’s fully expected of me on this platform. In my care, your pooch will have my full attention. Walks and regular potty breaks are always on the menu, and I will always make sure there is a bed in sunny spot for a hard nap after enrichment time. Your instructions for care are paramount. And regular communication is of great importance to me. You will receive many updates and photos…I can prove this is my “MO” by the hundreds of dog pics in my phone…few of them are my own dog 🤣 I am a homeowner, so I understand the importance of being responsible and respectful of someone else’s space.
