Growing up, we always had a dog and cat in the household, and I feel a home isn't a home without a furry family member! For years, I have taken care of friends' pets while they are away, and for about a year, I fostered puppies for a local no-kill shelter. I love getting to know the unique personalities of each animal as each is special. I take a lot of pictures of the dogs/cats I care for, so you can expect to see photos of your dog or cat getting plenty of attention while you are away. Currently, I have 2 cats of my own, so I try to keep my house sitting stays close enough to my house that I can get back to take care of my cats about every other day. I work from home, so I am able to pay a lot of attention to your dog or cat during the day. I love to go for walks, especially with a dog by my side, and because I don't work in an office, I can go on multiple walks each day. Once I'm booked with a client, I like to get details from them about any medications, feeding schedules, appointments and anything else I need to keep track of so if there are a lot of special items to track, I can create a spreadsheet to ensure I've completed each task. I also take plenty of pictures and send you a daily recap of the exciting things your little family member did that day.
