Pet care experience
I grew up with family dogs and cats and have always had a cat (or 2) as an adult. I rescued a dog from a shelter and he was the love of my life. He started my passion for rescue and inspired me to buy a home with a fenced yard. I started fostering for rescue in 2011 and I have cared for over 100 cats and dogs, of varying breeds and sizes and helped them all to find forever homes. I've learned a lot about animal behavior, basic training and veterinary through fostering. I have also cared for friends and family's pets. I've rediscovered my love of travel, so I'm hoping to make some extra dollars to afford boarding my own pets during times away.
Reviews
Pam was fantastic with our rescue dog. She was great at communication, flexible and warm. She sent daily updates and regular pictures. We can’t be any happier. We are looking forward to working with her again.
Luna had a great time cuddling and playing ball! We’re so glad Pam was available for Luna!
Thank you so much for taking care of BB while we were away. Always appreciate how you deal with her eating/dietary issues and keep us informed along the way. You are the best!
Pam was a great host to my pup! I received regular updates and photos, and my dog came back tired and happy. I would absolutely recommend Pam!

Safety, trust & environment
I have 2, 20-lb resident dogs and a small cat. The dogs are vocal about a new guests visiting, so expect some commotion upon first meeting them. Dogs will be provided fresh water every day and fed to specification. We take an afternoon walk every day and ROVER guest dogs are welcome to join if relatively good on leash. I let dogs out into the fenced yard first thing in the morning, several times throughout the day and before bedtime. My cat knows to keep a safe distance until she's comfortable, but please provide details about previous exposure your dog(s) has had with cats. ROVER guest cats will be kept separate in a large bedroom with everything they need, including a big cat tree in a large window for watching wildlife scurry by. I have a TV in the room and will spend at least an hour every day hanging out/playing with cats, along with periodic check ins throughout the day for feeding and other basic care.

Information Pam T. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog or cat has any special likes or dislikes. It would be helpful to know if the dog(s) have had exposure to/lived with a cat(s). Also, medical concerns and medications.
A typical day
I have a large fenced yard for dogs to sniff around in and I live near a parkway for short walks. Cats will get an hour of snuggles and playtime outside of routine check-ins every day.
Services
Pam can host
Availability
I currently work from home, so I am able to let dogs out several times a day into the securely fenced yard (6-ft privacy fence) and for cats, I have a finished spare bedroom in the basement with a big egress window.
