Pet care experience
NOTE: I work part-time Tuesdays-Thursdays. While my calendar is set as “unavailable” those days, contact me if you need a sitter. I may be able to accommodate your pet(s) either before or after work. My fur-family has consisted of a 10 year-old Rottweiler, a 2 y.o. Rottweiler, & a 14-year-old Border Collie until last year, but we had to say goodbye to our 2 older fur kids in June & October. We’ve now begun a new phase of “pet parenting” through fostering. Our first is a 2 yo Border Collie. I've volunteered at the Genesee County Animal Control as a dog walker, & have worked at a doggie daycare, but have a lifetime of pet ownership & care. My professional training is as a Master's Social Worker with a graduate certificate in Human-Animal Intervention from Wayne State & Oakland Universities. My older Rottweiler and Border Collie were Registered Therapy Dogs & worked as my co-therapists using Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy. I'm now training my youngest for Therapy Dog work. I’m also a photographer & LOVE taking pet photos. I’m excited to meet your fur-family and discuss the care I can provide. While you're away, you can request--in addition to the routine feeding, medication administration & companionship--brushing, training, play, walks, or appointments to vet, if needed. My preferred travel radius is 10 miles (by Google maps) from Belsay Rd & Richfield. Over 10 miles—up to 15—will be charged an additional $5.
Reviews
This is about the seventh time Pam has taken care of my ‘not-so-friendly’ fur baby. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with how well she takes care of her. I would highly recommend Pam.
Pam was GREAT! She sent us pictures every day and took great care of our baby! ❤ So thankful for the peace of mind she gave me!
Pam is one of the best pet sitters that Fran has ever had, my cat is a problem child. She not only made sure that Fran’s basic needs were met, she went out of her way to make Fran happy.
Pam did a wonderful job taking care of my not so friendly cat. I am grateful to have found a sitter in my area.

Information Pam P. would like to know about your pet
I already know you’re a dedicated pet-lover, or you wouldn’t be looking for someone to care for your family member while you’re away. I’m comfortable with all breeds, all sizes, and most species. let me know if there are any specific behavioral issues your pet is dealing with so I can be aware beforehand, and help in any way I can. Yes, I can pet-sit your cat, bunny, bird, reptile, fish, etc. But until Rover edits their site to list other species in the drop-down, do this & just select “cat:” 1. Navigate to your Dashboard or Profile by selecting your name in the upper right corner of the screen. 2. Select Add Dog from your dashboard or profile. 3. Fill out your cat's profile. In the breed section, just select "cat." 4. Rate is $15 for 1st 2 cats, $5 each additional 2 cats. Note: I use respirator mask when cleaning cat litter boxes for my safety. I’m will need ALL instructions input into your pet’s care information profile.
A typical day
What are your pet’s favorite activities? I want to be sure to include them in our visits together. Does he/she like to be brushed? Is there a favorite toy? Does he/she just like to cuddle on the couch? I’m open to any or all, just not jogging. Bathing is not an issue, unless you know that your pet has a difficult time with this. I’m also able to provide training for whatever it is you’re working on with him/her. Just let me know.
