Pet care experience
I’ve cared for, fostered and trained pets for more than 20 years. I have volunteered at shelters and even been trained as a puppy raiser for future service dogs. I would love to take care of your pets for you with the same special attention! I’m admittedly new to the dog sitting/walking arena, but not to animal care in general. We lost our last dog recently at the ripe old age of 17, so taking care of your dogs will bring me so much joy. We will chat about their preferences and habits and I will ensure they are as comfortable as possible until you are able to return to them. You will have no worries while they are in my hands.

Pam was an amazing sitter for my two cats for the week. She kept me updated and took great care of them. They both can have anxiety around new people, and she was very patient with them while still making sure they were eating, drinking, etc. Cannot recommend her enough!
Pam took excellent care of our fur family while we were away for the weekend. She took care to give thorough updates and pictures and we arrived home to very happy dogs and cats. We would definitely recommend her services and will be likely to reach out to her again in the future.

I am an avid hiker and know plenty of beautiful spots to take your dogs for a quick or long walk, depending on your needs. Or, maybe your dogs have a favorite loop around your neighborhood? We will have a meet and greet before your service to make sure I know exactly what your dog’s preference is and what will make you most comfortable in your absence.

I always love to hear about a dog’s quirks and temperament. They are all so different. Of course, if they have any aggression triggers, that is a must. I will need to know bathroom habits and expected leash and car behavior, if I will be taking them anywhere out of your neighborhood.
A typical day
I have a few favorite local spots to bring my dogs, including Harkness State Park in Waterford, Stenger Farm, the Sheep Farm in Groton or Bluff Point. But if you have a particular spot that you know your dog loves, I’m open to new ideas.
