Loving play, tempered discipline

Pet care experience

I recently moved to Texas and had to leave my dogs behind with my son. I am missing them fiercely. Won't you let me shower some of this "puppy love" on your pet? I love the personality of each animal and enjoy getting to know their whims. I also enjoy the fact that they guide you into being present, mindful of small things that we often take for granted. I feel blessed being in the presence of these gentle souls. I would love to host your dog in my home. We have a dog park in our complex that is shaded and quite large. I also understand that pets often fare better in the comfort of their own home, and am very willing to accommodate. I will be moving back to California at the end of February 2022.

Pam was so great communicating with us about Maddie's stay with her. Pam and her husband were wonderful with Maddie and she felt right at home with them. We feel very fortunate to have found Pam on Rover. We definitely will call on her again.

Pam was awesome with Otis! Our normally anxious little fellow immediately warmed right up to her. Pam has a calm, relaxed personality and is very experienced with caring for dogs. She more than met our expectations, paying close attention to all of our instructions, taking Otis for daily walks and even allowing him to stay in his normal routine by sleeping in bed with her. Pam's home is very clean and tidy and yet also dog friendly and pet welcoming. She reported Otis took a real liking to her husband as well. Pam kept in contact with us, sent a picture and we felt confident that he was in good hands! We will definitely be booking Pam again. So glad we found her!

I am so grateful to Pam for taking such good care of my pup, Daisy! I felt completely confident and worry free each time I have left Daisy with Pam. Thank you so much!!!

Pam is the best! Coco is well cared for while she’s with Pam. Even going for walks.

While we only have a mobile home, we have great walking paths and a few dog park areas for the dogs to run. I take care not to have them run with other dogs as I do not know how the other dogs will behave.

Information Pam H. would like to know about your pet

I appreciate knowing any funny behaviors your dog may have, so I can know if it is normal, or something I have to be concerned about. Their sleeping habits are also good to know ---we are totally fine with dogs sleeping in the bed with us.

A typical day

A typical day will start with a walk and feeding time. We then play a little and do chores around the house. I try to take the dogs out every two hours. We have great shaded walking paths around here and a dog park.
