Pet care experience

My husband and I live in a house with a medium sized backyard that is completely fenced in. We both grew up with dogs and have rescued our last two Collies. I have had my pet care business since 2005. I have enjoyed establishing relationships with my dogs and their owners over the years. I walk dogs daily, board dogs, visit pets when their owners travel, and take dogs to the park. NO PUPPIES OR HIGH ENERGY DOGS. We have a dog park (Power Line Dog Park) just one block from our home in Encinitas if your dog likes to socialize with others. I am licensed, insured, and have references. I was a volunteer at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s). About this sitter: I have had my pet care business since 2005. I walk dogs daily, visit pets when their owner's travel. board up to 2 dogs in our home, and make dog park visits. I am licensed, insured, and have references. I was a volunteer at Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. I enjoyed visiting and walking the dogs while they waited to be adopted into their new home.

Pam watched our older dog, Bonnie, and provided warm comfortable care with many walks. Good communication, and we were very happy to know Bonnie was in good hands

Pam’s place is wonderful! Kipa is a shy guy but felt very relaxed & happy during his weeklong sleepover stay with her. Pam sent me a photo of him every day.

Pam took good care of our girl and sent us pictures and daily updates. It was great to know our pup was in good spirits and being well looked after while we were away. Pam took Baci on daily walks and played fetch with her in the back. We were happy she was well exercised and look forward to using Pam in the future.

Best service I have received through Rover and my dogs seemed to have really enjoyed themselves. Thanks!

Information Pam H. would like to know about your pet

Meet and greets are always required before I commit to walking or visiting a dog(s) or boarding them to be sure the owner, their dog(s) and I are comfortable. I don't have a breed preference, but I don't board dogs who are aggressive, puppies, dogs who are diggers, and dogs who are high energy.

A typical day

There are many neighborhoods to explore in the Village Park area so dogs who stay with us will become familiar with the area on their daily walks. Power Line Dog Park is just a block away, so if your dog likes to socialize. Our yard is large enough to play fetch, catch a frisbee or ball and run around.
