I just need some 4 legged lovin'!

Pet care experience

Over the past 30+ years, I have had 4 dogs and 1 cat. All lived to old age and one to very old age. I just recently adopted a 12 year old rescue mix breed. After my last dog died, I started taking care of neighbor's pets while they travel and doing mid-day walks which morphed into a full time business in 2018. It gives me great joy to take care of other peoples pets. I get some 4 legged lovin' and the pet parents can relax when they are away knowing their babies are being well cared for and loved. I enjoy long walks in the woods and would love to have your dog join me or spend time playing with your cat. I do not talk/text on my phone while walking a dog. The dog gets my total attention! I also have lots of experience taking care of senior dogs and cats who need a little extra care.

Pam is a trustworthy and compassionate animal lover. She took much of her own personal time to make sure both me and my 83lb Doberman were comfortable during a 6 day span apart. She sent photos and updates that made me feel my dog was happy and well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pam as a caretaker of your treasured fur baby.

Pam is wonderful! My sweet “Izzy“ has never been more relaxed while away for us. ❤️

Pam is AMAZING! You can't find a better care taker for your 4-legged baby. When I first logged onto Rover I was a little nervous about a stranger watching our old girl, but that fear resolved after Pam opened her home to us for a meet and greet. "Izzy" instantly made herself at home. When we left "Izzy" for the week Pam would send us daily txts and pictures, which helped us enjoy our trip a little more knowing that "Izzy" was well cared for.

Pam is obviously knowledgeable & experienced with dogs and she did a great job with my girl Clover while I was away for a little over a week - I returned to a very happy and well exercised dog and will definitely try to book with Pam when I need a sitter in the future!

Information Pam F. would like to know about your pet

I would like know if your dog is housebroken, trained to stay off the furniture (I know that's a tough one and not a deal breaker), and is crate trained and can be crated when I'm not home. I have my own crate that I santitize between each use. You will not need to bring one unless you prefer that your dog uses his/her own. I also require some additional paperwork that includes a service contract and proof of current vaccinations.

A typical day

Your dog will go on long walks in the woods behind my house each day, hang out in the kitchen while we prepare and eat meals and relax in living room with my hubby and me while we watch TV or read. Basically, your dog will be part of our family. We will also have lots of play time. However, when we are not home, I do require that your dog be crated. I am home a lot so crate time is minimal.
