Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10! At 12 my parents got me a dog to train on my own (who still lives with my parents), and at 20 I got a cat who I take care of now. I used to dog and cat sit for neighbors growing up (Yorkshire Terrier, Golden Retriever, and Tabby cat) and have always loved it, and now I often dog sit my brother's 1-year-old Border Terrier.

Paige was super communicative, on time and conscientious. She was willing to work with our dog who can be a bit tough to walk and am greatly appreciative to her.
Paige is so accommodating and very kind to animals!
Our German Shepherd, Maverick can be very intimidating at first but Paige warmed right up when she came for a meet and greet prior to booking. We were very nervous to travel out of state and leave Maverick but Paige was great in her communication with daily updates and or photo's and was quick to respond if I had questions. She is very responsible and reliable and I would not hesitate to use her again.
Paige was wonderful! When we went away for the weekend, Paige came over and checked in our cat, Lily. Paige scooped Lily's litter box, made sure her kibble bowl was full, and played with her while we were gone. When previous petsitters have sent us pictures of Lily, she would always look a bit timid and anxious. In the pictures Paige took, she looked confident, happy, and playful. I would absolutely recommend you hire Paige for any of your petsitting needs and will book with her again in the future!

I care for pets by feeding them their regular food on a regular schedule as much as possible. I take them outside (if relevant) as often as needed, including walks, and/or clean the litter box every day to ensure that the cat(s) feels comfortable. I also factor in time to play and/or provide attention generally so the pet does not feel lonely.

If caring for a dog, it is important that I know how high energy they are, what their preferred activities are, how long you would prefer the walk to be, and how your dog reacts to seeing other dogs and animals. If caring for a cat, it is important that I know how often and how much to feed them, what kind of attention they prefer (playing, pets, alone time), if they are to be let outside, and how often to clean their litter. This way, your pets are as safe and happy as possible with me!
A typical day
As someone who recently moved to Raleigh, I love finding new walking spots, like parks or hiking areas. My favorite place is the trails at the NCMA! I also love dog parks where pets can run and play as they please.

I am currently living in Raleigh, where I work a 9-5, but am generally pretty free on the weekday evenings, weekends, and most holidays. I take care on my cat each day and he brings so much light into my life!
