I'm a huge dog lover and have 3 pooches of my own. I'd love to walk your dog(s) and make sure they get some great exercise and mental stimulation! So how does this work? 1) I pick up and drop off your dog from home. The walk itself is 2-3 hours depending on your dogs activity level and the weather. I’m good rain or shine but if there are severe windstorms or thunderstorms I will end the walk. 2) The first part of the walk I walk your dog on a long line while I make sure their recall with me is solid. After that I do let them off leash to explore! I start by only taking your dog(s) with mine so I can see what they’re like :) If I think they’d be a good fit with other dogs I walk I’ll bring it up. 4) Your dog should be comfortable with other dogs (I hook them up to a seatbelt in my truck and have 3 dogs in the back seat at a time). They also need to have recall if you want me to take them off leash. This isn’t something I’ll train for you but I do keep them on leash until they get used to hearing the recall from me. For drop-in visits, I've trained my own pups and have had to give them pills, eye drops, eye ointment or ear drops over the years so could provide this care to any dog that may need it. If they just need to be let out and have company I'm happy to give them all the snuggles. I also have a few fun interactive dog toys to get their brains going that I could bring along!
