Pet care experience
I’ve had pets growing up as long as I can remember. We got my childhood cat as a kitten, and I also had a dog for over 12 years. My longest pet was the pug-mix in my profile pic, Jackie. She was the special needs dog in her elder years, but such a sweetheart. I haven’t any pets of my own as I recently graduated with my masters, so I’m not financially in a place to be an owner. However, I have recently realized that why be upset about not having my own pet when I can help care for other’s animals? My best friend lets me cat sit regularly, and that has been such a great experience! I’ve also spent a lot of time with my friend’s dogs and puppies, by taking them on walks and helping play with them. I’m such an animal lover I want to share that love to treat your pet like it’s my own. <3

Absolutely amazing! My dog was being a pain in the butt and Paige did everything in her power to make my dog feel at home. It was a huge relief knowing my dog was in good hands. I strive to treat your pet like it’s my own. I will always keep to the schedule that the pet owner will give me; however, I also cater to the particular needs of the animal. So if the cat or dog wants to play an hour later, that’s totally fine! Or if they doesn’t eat right away, I will try to coax them to eat, or give them food at a later time, to make sure they are getting all their daily nutrients!

Let me know what your dogs special needs are. Do they take any medication that I need to give them? What kind of food are they eating and how should I prepare it best? What do they like on walks? How good is their vision / sense of hearing / sense of smell (just for elderly dogs so I know if they need to be given extra guidance)? Also does your dog have any allergies ? Let me know so I can make sure to avoid those allergens. Lastly, is your dog friendly with others on walks or would you prefer me to not have them interact with other neighborhood dogs? Thanks!! :)
A typical day
I love playing with pets! Whenever I am walking or watching your dog, you are guaranteed to get ample playtime, lots of pets and cuddles, and long walks. I will try to walk your dog for whatever your needs are. If it’s an elderly dog, we can stop and sniff things, and take our time on the walk. If your dog is a puppy or very hyper, I’ll try to walk it a decent distance to help tire out some of that puppy energy! Whatever you need, I’m willing to cater. I’ll even put on some doggy tv and or find some fun enrichment games to play! I’m just so happy to be spending time with your furry friend.

I’ve recently relocated to Richmond. I’m only working a part time serving job at the moment until I can land a full time job, so I have plenty of availability during most weekdays- including mornings and afternoons. I’m available select nights on a rotating basis so just let me know!
