Paige took in my puppy Chocolate Lab/Red Nose Mix Duke when I was in a rough situation. I was explaining to her sister my situation and then I received a call from Paige saying that she would love to have him stay with her. I didn't even ask her to make this possible, she just heard about Duke and I through her sister and did everything she could to make sure that we could still be together. Not only did she take Duke into her home, she also provided him with food, took him on daily walks and swims, and vet appointments when something was wrong. My breaks during college were spent staying and visiting with Duke and Paige and you could see how much he loved living with her. He had a million toys, lots of treats, learned a lot of new tricks, a large dog bed, and was well nourished and of course happy. The second that Paige noticed something was wrong with Duke, she would contact me immediately and keep me updated at all times, as well as contacting his vet and taking him in if there were more concerns. She was amazing to Duke and he loved her so much. Duke winded up becoming really ill and was found to have Lyme disease that reached to the point where his organs were failing. She loved Duke beyond his very last breathe and Duke ended up becoming an amazing dog in both of our lives. When he passed, Paige sent me a beautiful bracelet with Dukes ashes in it. I can not explain how amazing she made his life and I am so grateful he got to spend his life with her. He was an amazing, awesome, loving dog that was given the world by Paige.
