Pet care experience
Having grown up with many animals in the house, I always found family wasn't complete without animals. Working in an elementary school, I met and befriended many parents for whom I've taken care of both their children and pets and I've worked for a professional dog walking service, all of which provided me great relationships and experience. I glean much pleasure and fulfillment in providing a nurturing and fun environment for animals, and hope to continue to build strong relationships with clients and their furry loved ones! Upon first meeting your pet, I would love to gently build their trust and get to understand how they read my voice and my behavior. I can then build on their temperament and responses to learn how best to communicate with them. Dogs are all very different in their trust and relationship building, and I feel it is very important for me to build a strong trusting first impression with your pet :)

The entire experience with Paige was fantastic. She took great care of our puppy and our cat. We are hoping to use her whenever possible in the future.
Second time using Paige to watch our quirky gal Bella (dog). Our flight was delayed a wee bit and Paige came back to our place after her work to feed and let Bella out. Paige is the best, and responsive! Highly recommend.
Paige stayed in our home for a couple days to take care of our Blue Heeler, Willie. On her first introduction, she was very inquisitive and interested in learning all of Willie's quirks (of which there are many) and how to handle them. During her stay, she texted updates and pictures to let me know how they were doing. I knew that Willie was in good responsible hands with Paige.
Paige is super responsive and asked a lot of good questions to learn about our dog. Her updates included helpful information. Most importantly, Paige is patient! Our dog can be stubborn and not want to walk far from home, Paige tried all tactics and even asked for more suggestions. Really made us feel comfortable. Paige will definitely be contacted again to care for our stubborn gal! :)

I would like to know any triggers or apprehensions your dog may have around anything or any behaviors that I should avoid. I would also like to know your dogs walking routines- which side they take, if they follow certain directions over others, if they are treat driven, etc. If there are allergies or environments that are unsafe, please provide me with a list. Behavioral issues or habits that may come up, especially around other people or animals. Any safety and or precautionary information you feel someone in your dogs care would need. Also, any special preferences to treats, restrictions on treats, games they enjoy, places they like to be scratched, etc.
A typical day
I love walking around neighborhoods and parks, one of my personal hobbies with or without dogs :) I find that the more natural and less hectic environment usually gives the dog a more calm and freeing space to explore. Traffic and loud noise can be stressful for animals, so I try to avoid these areas if possible. I also love cuddle time, when the dog is comfortable with me and trusts me, we can play with toys and enjoy some petting and snuggling.
