Pet care experience
I lost my childhood best friend (Jack - a Wheaten Terrier) two years ago. Since then, I have had a job which required constant travel, so I've been unable to have a dog in my life. I am now currently a law student at IU and have a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to hang out with all of your furry friends! During the past two years when time has allowed, I've volunteered at PAWS Chicago (a no kill animal shelter) where I was trained to handle dogs from all walks of life (puppies to senior dogs), some of which were victims of abuse and required specialized care. In addition, one of my favorite things to do is go on runs with dogs (it motivates me and gives me companionship. If your dog is active (like mine) and would like to go on a run or a brisk walk with me, that's even better! I can't wait to get to know you and your dog soon!

I love ALL dogs - no matter the breed. I do prefer that your dog be spayed/neutered in order to stay at my house.
A typical day
Your dog will have a great vacation hanging with me, Luke (my boyfriend), and our dog, Atticus (a 1 year old super active Australian Shepard). Atticus loves every dog he has ever met and lives for the opportunity to welcome another furry friend into his home. Dogs that stay with me will enjoy 2-3 walks or hikes a day (around Bloomington or in near-by trails for more adventure), as well as plenty of inside play like tug-of-war and fetch. We have a fenced in back yard that is ideal for maximum play time, however, your dog will never go unsupervised. We also regularly go to the Bloomington Dog park and are more than willing to take your dog there, if he or she is comfortable with it. We truly just love to spend time with dogs and are very laid back, so just let me know if you have any questions or concerns prior to booking with me!
