Pet care experience
Hello my furry friend lovers! My name is Paige and I am 23 years old. I currently take care of my own dog who is a 6 year old Great Pyrenees/ Shepherd mix as well as well as my parents 1 year old chocolate lab. I am currently doing house stays/visits for now as I am temporarily living with my parents while I wait for my future home to be built and our puppy is still working on her socialization skills with other dogs. A little more about me; I have been working in the pet care industry for about 6 or so years now. I have been taking care of peoples pups and other furry babies for about 4 years working at a dog boarding/daycare/training facility. There I learned everything from dog behavior, positive reinforcement training, how to administer most/all types of medications. From there I have moved to a veterinary technician for the last 4 months and continuing to gain knowledge. I have been doing in home pet sitting for 2 and a half years and LOVE it! I have watched up to 7 dogs at once(yikes)! I have catered to dogs with special needs such as medications (insulin, and other liquid injections ect.) as well as physical needs for our seniors. I do enjoy taking dogs out for fun! Such as on long walks or if you have a water dog like my own, taking them out to the local Austin creeks for a swim! My goal is to keep your pet(s) safe, make sure they have full bellies and to give them a ton of attention, walks and play time so they stay mentally stimulated while you're away. I'm more than happy to send frequent pictures, skype or call you to keep you informed and ease your mind!

Paige came and met with me before staying at my house with my dog. She was very personable. She followed instructions for my elderly dog. We communicated once over the few days I was gone. House was in order, so she left everything the way it was. I'm sure my dog was more comfortable staying in his own home rather than going elsewhere. I would use Paige again if I need something like this in the future. Here rate was very reasonable for staying in my home and taking care of my dog. I appreciate her service and care for him!
Paige loves dogs as much as I do. I didn't think someone out there could be as pet obsessed as me but she truly is. Both my pups fell in love with her right away and I felt incredibly comfortable leaving her my spare key. I loved that she sent me pictures and even videos of my pups playing. She has a great personality and she also had fast response time. Rover never disappoints when you have wonderful dog sitter's on here like Paige! She will always be my Austin dog sitter from now on!

We didn't pick Paige so much as our three dogs picked her. Paige is, first and foremost, very experienced with dogs. She believes in and practices positive training methods and it colors all of her interactions with dogs. We first met Paige where we take our pups to day care; she's now a tech at our vet's office. She knows dogs, loves them and chooses her career path in such a way that she is always working with dogs. We've been privileged to have Paige stay with our pups for one visit so far. She was great. In fact, when she left, our "skittish boy" looked for her in the house for an hour. We might be projecting here, but we actually think he may have been depressed that she was gone. Paige is a part of our family now. That's what it takes for us to trust anyone with our dogs, and as I mentioned in my opening ... we didn't so much pick her as our dogs picked her. They love Paige and we will not hesitate to ask her to sit our pups again. We recommend her without reservation.
