Pet care experience
Howdy! I’m glad you made it to the right Paige (pun intended). My husband and I are animal enthusiasts - we’ve fostered and pet sat for years. We’re not ready for our own just yet, so we’d love to borrow yours! ;) We’re new Durham residents and live in a two-story townhome with a small fenced in patio. I work from home and will be around the house often, although we’re a bit busier on the weekends. We have an active lifestyle and enjoy getting out and about with your pups, but we’re just as content to laze around on the couch. *Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets with severe separation anxiety* Please feel free to ask me any questions you have. We’re ready to give your furry friend all the cuddles!!

Our dog was very well cared for and had a lot of fun! We received regular pupdates and Paige asked many considerate questions about our dog's care. This is clearly someone who puts a lot of effort into ensuring a safe and comfortable stay for their guests - would recommend!

Paige took amazing care of my dog! He had a situation with his ear during his stay and she handled it in a very caring and professional manner. I really appreciate her flexibility with the initial drop off time and I can't thank her enough for her patience.
Paige took great care of our puppy Neo. She took him a lot of walks and even gave me some tips on minimizing his leash pulling behavior. She also kept us updated often, about him.

Our home is a quiet and safe environment with an 8 ft fenced in patio. We’re happy to let pets roam free inside our home, including lounging on the furniture. We have hardwood flooring and a steep(ish) set of stairs leading to the second floor bedrooms.

As much as we want to care for every pet, we unfortunately cannot accommodate those with severe separation anxiety or destructive behaviors. Additionally, we are very light sleepers and all pets must be able to sleep through the night and remain in their own bed.
A typical day
I’m an early riser and love a morning walk around the block or reading a book on the couch. My work days are fairly routine (9-5), but flexible for pickups, walks, and errands. I head to the gym after work, then finish up with dinner at home.

Availability
My schedule during the week is quite flexible since I work from home - I typically don’t leave the house for more than a few hours at a time, unless to run errands in the evening. However, my weekend schedule can get busy at times, so pups must be able to be alone for up to 6 hours.
