***IMPORTANT*** I will no longer be doing overnight stays until further notice. Due to circumstances with my own dog, he can no longer be left alone overnight. If he is able to stay with me, or you can opt for extended drop-ins perhaps we can arrange something. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I am the owner/mom of a corgi and am a certified Veterinary Support Assistant. Most of my stays are in James Island, Downtown and West Ashley, but I am available for hire in other Charleston areas. I am familiar with most dog breeds and will drop-in for quick visits, as well as stay at your house while you're out of town. My services extend to those with cats, reptiles, birds and horses. I offer boarding ONLY for well-trained/well-mannered animals that are dog and cat friendly. All animals must be up to date on vaccines (rabies, bordatella, etc.) while staying with me as they will come into contact with our pets. Must be house broken or crate trained (if they have a crate). Long-term boarding is available upon request. I come from a military family and know how hard it can be to called away from home and wondering what you're going to do with your pet. Whether you're being called away for duty or just need to get away for a vacation I will take them into my home and give them the best care and attention. I'm a friendly and caring professional that will give love to your pets as if they were my own. I would love the opportunity to take care of your fur babies. Let's schedule a meet and greet! ***PLANTS*** This application is for your pets, whom I will be taking care of. If you have a few plants that need to be watered I will happily do so. However, if you have a greenhouse, a garden, or multiple plants that need to be watered an additional $10 per day will be tacked on. I'm happy to discuss if you have any questions.

Please let me know if your dog has any kind of food or toy aggression. While this is not a deal breaker for me I do like to have all of the details to prevent any potential problems. Tell me about their personality and when they can and cannot have treats. I never give people food, but will give them treats if you provide them while playing and exercising any tricks they know.
A typical day
Whether it is a drop-in or overnight stay I will walk your dog around the neighborhood per your consent. When in-doors we will play fetch and other activities to keep them sharp and active.

SCHEDULE AND IMPORTANT INFO ***PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING*** I work full time at a law office in Charleston from 8A-5P M-F. I am off on weekends, but occasionally have a shoot or two booked as I also do portrait and creative photography. I am unable to do drop-ins midafternoon during the week as I do not get a lunch break. ***I do NOT watch animals that have a fear of fireworks or separation anxiety. I also have the right to decline a stay if I feel your pet and I are not suitable for each other. If they are not disciplined I more than likely will opt out of watching them. I have had too many people tell me their dogs are great that have no structure, no manners, use their teeth when playing, etc. This is why I strongly encourage meet and greets prior to booking. I always want to make sure both your pets and I are comfortable and happy. Safety is my first priority.
