We hired Paige for the first time on our recent two-week trip outside the country. She stayed in our home and was a sitter for our three dogs. I found Paige through Rover and my husband immediately started grilling me about having a stranger in our home and caring for our pets. We decided a "meet and greet" would be a good idea so Paige came over to meet the dogs and we walked through their routine and all the particulars of our house. Once my husband met Paige and saw her interact with our dogs the interrogation stopped and he felt that the house and our dogs would be in great hands. Paige, provided us with photo updates on Roxie, Barkley, and CC every day. She called them her interns and confirmed what we’d observed, that they are better playing, eating, and sleeping than doing any chores around the house. It was great to see that the dogs were at ease and we were pleased they could keep up their normal routine while we were away. We’ve used kennels or family to pet sit in the past but with a range of ages and activity levels, those options are not viable anymore. Our oldest has some separation anxiety and the youngest has more energy than 3 dogs her age. I cannot say enough good things about Paige and the fact that she went over and above the normal pet sitting criteria in every way. Our house was as clean or cleaner than when we left. I hate returning to a messy house so we always push to leave a tidy house, but it seemed cleaner on our return. The trash and recycling were taken out, plants watered, the dishwasher was washed and emptied (an unexpected surprise) and she also washed the sheets and towels (another unexpected surprise) so we could relax and spend time with our pets. Obviously, a two-week assignment provided time and we wouldn’t expect the same treatment on a very short stay, but we were blown away with her level of and care with our home and babies. We hope that she'll sit for us in the future!

Paige is wonderful. She sent us pictures of our pup everyday and he was always clearly very excited to see her. Paige is very communicative and sweet. Will definitely be booking her again.
