I am a professional dog trainer specializing in positive reinforcement training techniques. I love all dogs and would love to help you care for your furry friend! Not only am I available to walk, drop in or house sit for your dog, I can also help you address behavior issues, polish up training or enforce your existing training plan while I'm at it! I worked as the senior dog trainer at Petco in Greeley, Colorado for the past year before moving to the city. I have been caring for my own dog for the past eleven years and several others before her. I have worked as a paid dog walker and pet sitter since 2011. I don't just do dogs! I am happy to care for any number of critters from birds to reptiles to small furries. There is not much that will surprise me.

Owen was sweet with my doggie and she was really happy and comfortable with him.
Owen did a terrific job of caring for my dog. He took him for a swim at the lake, and he met new dogs and even horses. Since Owen has one dog too, my dog had some 4 legged companionship for just hanging around the house doing dog stuff. Owen also has a beautiful shaded, fenced back yard. He sent me pictures of my dog while I was gone so I could sneak a peek and see what he was up to. Overall great experience and I will certainly be calling on Owen again for doggy day care. A 5 star experience!
Owen has never met a dog that doesn't like him, which says a lot because he was a dog trainer and met a lot of dogs. He is a lover of dogs and takes incredible care of them. He has watched my slightly neurotic chihuahua mix many times and I have always felt safe. Owen has experience caring for dogs from 5 pounds to 150 pounds, and he can handle them all. I would trust him with my dog any day of the week. He has a lot of experience caring for older dogs and dogs with behavioral issues. If you need a person that can take care of your dog and keep them happy while doing it, Owen is your guy.
Owen has always been great with pets! My pup, Herbie is no exception. Owen has been a well trusted dog sitter for Herbie for over a year. He has helped train Herbie to do tricks such as lay down, crawl, and dance. He takes Herbie on walks and to the park. Owen really has a special connection to animals and always seems to know just what they want and what they need. Herbie is always so excited to go over to Owen's. Leaving Herbie with Owen, I know that he will not only be well taken care of, but will be well loved. I'd strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
