I have past experience with other dog sitting companies and love everything about the job. No pup is too much for me to take care of. I love to play and tire pooches out because I know that exercise and stimulation is the best thing for them. I am also very happy to just sit and cuddle with a pupper who just wants some love(: I am very patient and caring when it comes to any dog's needs (young or old). I understand that every dog has a unique personality and I am committed to tailoring my service to any owner's requests. Before caring for a client's dog I would like to know of any particular triggers such as other dogs, people, cars, sounds. I would also like to know of any allergies as I do like to motivate dog's with treats (with client permission of course). I would also like to know the daily routine of the dog(s) and its owners to make sure their pet feels safe.
A typical day
I believe a dog feels their best on a walk patrolling their neighborhood because it gives them a sense of purpose and stimulates their senses. On my walks I will be sure to explore new areas so my client's pets stay stimulated and interested in their walks. For more active dogs I do not mind taking them on a fast pace jog. With client permission, I also like to practice obedience and some simple leash skills with the use of treats.
