I have owned two dogs in the past, a black lab and an Australian Shepard Coon-hound mix, growing up with them and taking care of them until they passed on. Since then I have been house sitting and dog watching for friends, family, and other clients going on 8 years. I have experience watching dogs over 100+ lbs, small dogs, puppies, older dogs with difficulties, there's not much I haven't seen when it comes to dog sitting! I am also no stranger to walks, and have regularly taken the dogs I watch to the local run and park trails; rain, snow, or shine. If you've been to the Kennedy Dog Run in New City there's a very good chance you've already met me (please forgive me if I know your dog's name but have to ask yours again)! I have my own carseat covers and a seat belt safety clip that attaches to the collar for transportation, as well as whatever music your dog prefers to listen to on the drive over. I am comfortable with cats too, my family has had cats since before I could talk and I have experience working with rescues from my time volunteering at Hi Tor Animal Shelter. If requested I can also provide pictures of your pet while walking, visiting, or sitting, and upon further request I can bring my DSLR to snap some extra cute pics to use for holiday cards or the perfect screensaver.
