Dog owner for 16+ years, vet tech for 4+ years. Well versed in animal behavior and first aid. I specialize in medication administration, allergy prone animals, animals with specialized or prescription diets, older and/or special needs animals. I have three dogs of my own, one of which is immuno compromised and has trouble with her legs. I have participated in obedience and show classes with my first dog through 4H. I love all animals and I am very excited to meet your special family member or members.

Oliva overall did a great job with our cats and we loved that she took out the trash after her visit. And she was kind enough to clean up after we had a mirror break in our house. We had a miscommunication about times but after we figured that out all was good and the cats were well taken care of over the holidays!

I can crate your dog after a walk or a potty visit. I always check interior and exterior doors to make sure they are locked and leave front door lights on if needed in the evenings. I always take a look through the house and move broken or torn toys out of reach to minimize messes and protect your pet from ingesting things they aren’t supposed to. I make sure your pet has everything they need before I leave your home.

I like knowing leash habits before going for a walk, or if your dog is reactive to other dogs or other animals. I also would like to know if your pet has any special needs. Knowing the age of the pet is always a good thing, as well as if they are allergic to anything, especially bees or wasps.
A typical day
I like to provide enrichment and play through food or toys. I also like to provide a calm place for your family member to decompress and hang out or take a nap if needed. I like to look ahead and map out a general rout to take for a walk, or go over the medications I need to give to special needs pets. I will try to the best of my abilities to make sure your pet is a safe as possible while also having fun.
