Pet care experience
I have been taking care of pets since I was 15 years old. I have a degree in Animal Science with a focus on animal nutrition. I have worked at vet offices as a vet assistant and I recently worked at Hollywood Feed as the compliance officer. My passion for animals has always been a driving force in my life. I am experienced in administering medication and working with training dogs as well. Right now my availability is very flexible. I can work as much as needed and spend lots of time with your fur babies. Long walks and play time are fun for both me and the pet. I have a fenced in yard. And two dogs that are very friendly. Both of my dogs sleep in bed with me every night. And I live right next to Shelby farms where dog walking is easily accessible.

Overall we appreciate you watching Frodo. However, this was an all around nerve racking experience for me. After the first visit I almost felt the need to come home. I felt like I explained Frodo’s mannerism well during the meet and greet and I felt comfortable that you were capable to handle him your experience and background. The broken key situation was unfortunate. I was not comfortable that you had left the house unlocked or how you took the whole set of car keys versus taking the spare key off. I also did not like that the keys were left in the front flower pot; I felt as if they could have been hidden better for safety purposes. There looked like were multiple accidents in the house even though there was only one reported. Frodo never pees in the house, even on my long thirteen hour work days. Again we appreciate you watching him, but I would probably never do this again.
While out of town for the weekend, my worst nightmare occurred. I got the call that my sweet dog Asher had been attacked by MULTIPLE ANIMALS in our very own backyard. Olivia was not the original/ main sitter I had hired for the weekend to watch my house and dog I had just requested for her that same morning to do a 30-min check in between the time I had left that morning and my actual sitter was supposed to arrive. Olivia arrived early and immediately gave me the call that my baby needed to be taken to the hospital. She went in my house found what she needed to cover the wounds, waited for help to load my big dog into the car, and she rushed her an hour to the closest emergency pet hospital. She stayed on the phone with me as much as she could, and when she couldn’t she always answered the phone as soon as I called. She sacrificed her whole day to try to save my girl (for what was supposed to be a $15 drop in) and didn’t leave her side, even at the hospital, for hours. This had to be her hardest day on the Rover job, and honestly I’m very grateful it just so happened that I had hired Olivia last minute to pop in. She provided both Asher and I a comfort that I don’t think we would’ve gotten from many of these young rover gals. So thank you Olivia, for being there when we needed you the most and making sure both my pup and I could find some sort of comfort in our pain that day. Your overwhelming kindness hasn’t gone unseen nor forgotten.
Olivia was a great girl and Bullet seemed to like her, however, the consistency I needed was not being met and with Olivia’s cancelation policy being the “day of” it made for really inconvenient trips home to walk him myself on busy work days.
Olivia was great!! I would recommend her to anyone. She was great at communicating with me and took pictures of my dogs every time she did a drop in visit with them. It was so nice to know that they had someone kind and responsible to look after them.
