Steve & I just bought our first home here in Milwaukie, finally giving our pup the yard he deserves, so we’re new to hosting on Rover! Growing up, my family had a litter of puppies about every other summer and I learned early how to care for and train puppies - I even successfully delivered a litter by myself as a teenager when my parents were out of town! I regularly house and dog sat for all my neighbors throughout my childhood. Steve and I have both had dogs our whole life so it was obvious we wanted to get one together - our pup Ash is an English cocker spaniel and probably the most submissive and sweet dog you’ll ever meet. If your pup sometimes has issues with other dogs, I can pretty much guarantee he won’t with Ash. As loving pet owners that have used Rover for Ash, we know how important it is to check in with you while you’re on vacation so we’ll be sure to send you photos and videos if you’d like! Ash would loveeee a friend to play with :) PLEASE NOTE: We are both working professionals that only want to accept one client at a time. Please keep in mind that because we both have full-time jobs, we will not be able to provide constant attention on your dog if we are watching them M-F. Therefore, we need to be more selective of the kinds of pups we can watch so that our work is not negatively impacted. We will be selective of the dogs we share our home with, as our dog is affected too. Please look for someone else if your dog is particularly aggressive, yappy, incontinent, or special needs. We do not accept drop-off/pick-up times before 6:30am.
