I’ve had a dog since i was 11 and have had a cat now for 3years. I have been asked to do dog walking/checkups and brief cat sitting for friends and family. I have been given the opportunity of many sitting jobs through rover as well, and I have enjoyed meeting each and every new fur baby! I have taken care of animals young to senior. I have experience in taking care of animals who get seizures, I’ve giving medication through eyes, ears, and orally(if needed). I’ve also taken care of animals with separation anxiety or anxiety towards sounds, fast movement and towards other animals. As my dog has some of these issues herself due to her past before we rescued.

Olivia was a very pleasant person to meet. I felt confident she would do a good job. I was mistaken. She may have taken care of my pets very well I’m not sure I never got details of what she did but she left my house in a bit of a mess, the front door to my upstairs balcony was left wide open. The trash under the sink was filled and the second bag that she filled was left there. in the bathroom that she used, a soaking wet towel was left on the shower floor. Dirt of some sort was left in the bathtub that she used And she did not clean up after my pets as we discussed there were also wet washcloths left on a windowsill in the bathroom that left stains in the paint. over the years. I’ve probably had 8 to 10 different house/dog sitters in the past, there have been minor Situations regarding how things were left. Very insignificant things.I would not be able to say that at all this time.
Olivia was so attentive to the needs of our fur babies and took excellent care of them! She carefully followed the care guidelines that we discussed and was a lovely house-sitter/guest too! We can’t wait to have her again!

I enjoy the snuggles and relaxing for those with more calm, docile personalities, but I also love being playful (tag, hide and seek, catch, tug etc) with those who have and like high energy!. I like to learn personalities of each animal individually, and will respect their boundaries to create an environment that feels loving and safe for the both of us. I understand the importance in that as someone who has a dog with anxiety and have tasked care of many other animals who deal with that as well.
Information Olivia R. would like to know about your pet
It’s good for me to know how your dog does on leash (are they reactive to other people or animals?) that way I can determine for your dog and myself if I am the right fit for you or not. It’s also good for me to know if your dog has food aggression and or doesn’t like being touched on certain parts, Like the ears or mouth (stuff like that) and if there’s any additional information that other dogs may not have like anxiety etc. please let me know, that way I can attend to their needs in a way that makes them comfortable in their home:) Also, I want to encourage you to ask questions and be direct about your needs and wants for the stays!! That way there is little to no room for mistakes/miscommunications about things, which can end up sucking for both parties involved. I would love the stay to be as pleasant as possible for everyone! That way, hopefully we can work together again in the future.
A typical day
I have fun with dogs for their more active activities. I Have fun playing fetch, hide and seek, tug, tag, and “guess what hand the treat is in☺️. With cats, I appreciate their calmer way of interacting. Playing with strings/ feathers and what hand is the treat in, along with any additional toys you may have for them!

Currently only doing sittings and drop by’s on rover and don’t have any other work apart from that, so my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part.
