Pet care experience
I’ve had all kinds of pets through my childhood and adulthood from rabbits to birds to dogs and cats but decided to extend my care for animals into my career and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. I’ve been using Rover for ~3 years now and have built such great relationships with both owners and pets :) I work at an animal hospital in Chicago full time but live less than 10min from work so open to going home for walks, pets, and of course treats! Working in the Veterinary field I have years of experience dealing with all animals, in all life stages.

Olivia took good care of our dog, Ellie. Ellie seemed to be in good spirits when we picked her up.
Olivia did a great job taking care of our dog, Odin. She and her roommate took great care making sure he was watched over and he felt right at home with them during his stay. Highly recommended for any of your dog sitting needs.
Olivia was great!! She was easy to coordinate a "meet & greet" with, and she was really accommodating with our travel schedule. Olivia was very kind to our dog, and was able to give her benadryl at night for her allergies. Our dog had a great stay with her, and we will definitely reach out to Olivia again for a future stay!
olivia and her roommate gave my dog cudjoe good love! she was not only caring but the fact that she works at a vet, gave me comfort that she knew dogs and would be familiar with any issues that might come up. my pet came home relaxed, happy and with no signs of stress. he was well cared for, and i would not hesitate to use olivia again.

A typical day
Luckily there’s a beautiful (fenced in) park near my house that allows for long walks during the day and off leash time in the evening when no one is around.

Availability
As mentioned I work as a CVT and have the schedule of typical nurse which includes 3 long shifts (fortunately I live close enough to swing by on my breaks) and 5 days off.
