I have grown up with dogs since I was 5 years old. I have been lucky enough to have grown up with an American eskimo, German shepherd, Chow Chow mix, and a Lab/Husky/retriever rescue mix. In my early twenties my roommates had cats and I’ve always helped with feeding/care while they were away. As a child I’ve also had a pet rabbit, turtle, chicken, and fish. I grew up loving animals. I wish had the time to have my own dog but I’m currently in my residency program at UVMMC. I miss having my family dog around and hoping babysitting/walking other pets will fill that void!
