Pet care experience
I cared for 6 dogs, two cats, and one horse in Summer 2019 and realized that I enjoy caring for animals and making people feel good about leaving their furry family members. References available upon request. Your pets will be loved, happy, and healthy and you can have peace of mind. Most dog sitting I have done has been overnight in the owner’s home or check-ins for feeding and potty breaks 2-3 times a day. My rates are based on my experience and what I need in order to make driving to your home/being away from my home worthwhile. I generally will not drive to homes more than 20 minutes from where I live. I prefer to meet with owners and dogs prior to committing to overnight care. Because I currently work during weekdays, dog walking availability is currently limited to weekends. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and now own my own cat, named Harvey, who graciously allows me to alter his meal schedule to accommodate for other animals’ needs.

I am very thankful for Olivia! Whenever I go out of town, Olivia is always my go to person to watch my dog Spencer. She takes such good care of him and gives him extra love and attention while I am gone.
Olivia is wonderful with our golden retriever! Olivia is always reliable and thorough. She goes above and beyond. She spends time playing and snuggling with our dog and always gives us reports while we are out of town! I rest easier knowing Olivia is pet-sitting!

I have watched small dogs in my home previously, my cat leaves them alone or will hide from a higher energy dog. When I care for pets in other’s homes, I want to make sure your animals gets a little bit of human interaction in their day, whether it’s pets, a little play, or just telling them what a good animal they are.

I’d like to know what the signs of illness or anxiety are for your pet so that I can know when a behavior is normal or might be a sign of something. I’d like to know if there is anything that may scare your pet or cause it to be uncomfortable.
A typical day
Most of the dog sitting I have done has been with animals who I check in on two to three times during the day or stay over night for convenience. I enjoy walking with them, playing in the yard, and have even taken dogs on runs with me when an owner is open to it. We’ve been to Willow Springs Park and the trails at Warrior’s Path State Park.

I usually work during the weekdays 8-5, but can do early mornings, evenings, weekends, and potentially lunch breaks depending on the week. We can discuss your needs after you make a request and see if we’re a good fit.
