Pet care experience
*After a few years away, I've returned to Rover. Pets are family, and you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is in the best hands ❤️ I used to work at a vet hospital for 3 years, working with dogs and cats. I also got into the top vet school in the U.S., UC Davis. I have fostered and adopted a few dogs and cats of my own, with an add-on specialty of disabled pets, particularly paraplegic + incontinent pets, and helping them with rehabilitation, maintenance and recovery. I used to dog board through Rover, but stopped after I adopted my cats. I've now returned to Rover, just for drop-ins and walks. I’ve cared for dogs + cats with various demeanors and sizes, giving medication, and providing them with ample exercise, cuddles + playtime. Knowing how it can be stressful for you and your pet to be apart, please let me know if you have any particular needs or requests, so I can make you and your pet feel the most comfortable. I treat all animals l care for like family. For example, I had a vet suggest that I put my cat down because it can be a lot for a person to care for a incontinent, paraplegic cat, but my cat is family, and you do anything for family. She's a very happy cat who still gets the zoomies daily.

For dogs, I require proof of vaccinations for 4 different vaccines: Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper and Parvo. For cats, I require proof of vaccinations for 3 different vaccines: FVRCP, Rabies, FelV (or at least tested for the last one). If there is additional information you believe I should know about your pet, please let me know so that I can make his or her stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
A typical day
I love to stimulate their mind + body, so lots of playtime. If allowed during drop-ins and requested, letting your dog outside to the backyard to play ball or fetch. With indoor cats, depending on their toys, mixing it up to get them excited, and replicate them hunting prey.
