Pet care experience
Hi all! I am currently living in the NYC area and am originally from Los Angeles. My family loves animals and we have never had less than 5 pets at any given time! We always rescue dogs and cats from various shelters and invite them into our home with unconditional love. Throughout my childhood, I attended animal advocacy events and protests and have always loved spending time with pets. I worked for a summer at a doggy day care and took care of many dogs at a time. I also have done a lot of babysitting for families with animals and have had to look after many dogs and cats. After four years away from home, I miss my pets so much! I can’t wait to work with animals and be able to utilize my past experiences to help out others!

Olivia is a responsible and fun young adult who absolutely loves pets, especially dogs! She is one of the most trustworthy people I know and have had her watch my 2 dogs (both huskies) around 10 times now. She always pulls through, my dogs love her, and always follows the directions I leave for her. She walks them thoroughly, feeds them, and always makes me feel safe leaving my pups with her. She is a true hard-worker and you will not be disappointed. She is the best of the best, always has great communication, and even sends me pics when I’m at work! 5/5 stars, Olivia!
Olivia is so gentle and kind with pets! I’ve never seen someone so skilled with caring for cats and dogs alike. She’s responsible and loving towards her own pets and she treats her friend’s pets the same way! She’s outgoing, kind, careful, and someone I would trust deeply with my furry friends.
When I ask someone to care for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - I'm asking for a lot: trust, compassion, understanding my dog's needs, good listening, able to follow directions, patience and love for animals. Olivia has every single one of those qualities. She is absolutely amazing with dogs of any breed. I trust her to care for Copper at my home, or any other situation. Olivia is overflowing with kindness and love. My dog is elderly now with lots of special needs, and she takes that in stride. Whether it's carrying him around, rolling him in a wagon, or giving him an over-abundance of snuggles, Olivia always makes sure Copper is comfortable, happy and loved. I highly recommend Olivia!

For example, I will vary lengths and intensity of walks depending on each dog’s physical abilities. For pups who have a hard time walking, I will sit and play with for as long as they desire!

A typical day
I love to take dogs to new places and explore the city with them! I will take them on different routes, pet them, play various games like fetch, and run with those who love to run (like my yellow lab, Harper!). I’m terms of favorite spot, I know it’s basic but you can’t beat the Boston Common and Gardens for dog walking! If your dog is social, I would love to let them play with the others in the park.

I have plenty of time to care for your pets! Both my afternoons and evenings are generally open, as well as many weekends. I am currently looking for house sitting, preferably for at least a week.
