I have been a volunteer for Austin Dog Rescue for 6 years and counting! I have fostered over 20 dogs of many different breeds, sizes and ages in my personal home. I have worked extensively with a local dog trainer to ensure a good working understanding of what a dog needs to feel protected and loved. I am THE "dog lady" all my friends call on for their dog and kitty visits. I have a female border collie mix and a male rat terrier mix. They bring me a tremendous amount of joy and I can't picture life without a dog or two! We love spending time outdoors, taking in the sun and sounds. I grew up with a variety of dogs and other pets (turtles, ferrets, birds, hamsters) and a lot of folks would say I just might like animals more than people sometimes HA! I work from home which provides me lots of flexibility in my schedule. I love all animals and I'd love to be able to care for your pup when you are not able to! I go the extra mile to get to know your pet and make them comfortable while you're away.
