I love dogs and they love me

Pet care experience

Animals love me! I'm very good at picking up what a dog or cat is telling me based on body language. I look forward to gaining your pet's trust and tending to their needs! I've previously cared for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and breeds. I grew up around cats, dogs, and pet rodents. My family dog passed a few years ago and had lived until age 15. He was a very anxious dog who was losing control of his bowels and hind legs, and we learned how to make him most comfortable during his last few years. My family cat lived to be 21, and was a sassy senior lady. If your pet needs extra attention, we can make sure his or her needs are met! I’m fairly flexible so if there are any special instructions just let me know. I look forward to meeting your pet! Contact me to schedule a meet and greet today.

Olivia was great taking care of our elderly kitties while we were away! She gave medicine and attention and is clearly someone who understands cats and enjoys caring for them. It was reassuring to know they were well cared for. I would work with Olivia again!

Olivia was an excellent cat sitter. She's very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. I enjoyed getting her daily photos of my cat while I was away. :) Would highly recommend her!

Olivia is an excellent dog sitter! Lots of photos- feedback. And- the girls weren’t traumatized by my travel! Priceless!

Olivia was the first dog sitter we have hired in the area, and we will absolutely use her again! She is kind, communicative, and did great with our dog’s quirks.

Information Olivia D. would like to know about your pet

I require a brief meet and greet before taking care of your pet. That way, we can make sure your dog recognizes me and is comfortable when I come to walk or house sit. This is non-negotiable, so please keep this in mind when booking me. Both myself and your pet will be a lot more comfortable if we get to know each other before officially booking! What you can expect from a meet and greet: I'll visit your home to see your pet(s) in their element. You can show me where their toys, food, leashes, and other materials are kept. We'll get to know each other, and if you, I, and your pet feel comfortable, I will book the sitting after the meet and greet. I like to know the age of the dog and what experience they've had with training-- especially if they are young, I like to know if they are prone to jumping or biting. It's good to know how they are on the leash-- whether they will pull or try to run after a critter, or whether they are aggressive toward other dogs we might meet on the walk. It's also fun to learn what commands and tricks your dog knows so that we can practice while you're away! I love all breeds and tolerate a lot from dogs, but want to be prepared for any special behavioral needs I need to be aware of!

A typical day

I love taking dogs on walks and jogging with more active dogs. Dogs that are playful can expect a lot of fetch and toy time, and dogs that are more lowkey will enjoy my calm presence while we take it easy.
