Pet care experience
Thanks for visiting my page! I've loved and cared for dogs since I was in high school, about 20 years by now! I've assisted in local recreation center obedience classes alongside a professional trainer, I've worked in a various dog daycare and boarding facilities in the Portland Metro area, I trained as an apprentice to groom dogs at Petco and private shops, and I've walked dogs through dog-walking companies and friends throughout the years. I've completed certification from the Karen Pryor Clicker Training academy online in 2016. For me, taking care of your pet is serious business, but for your dog, it will be a blast. Your vacation or business trip to be worry-free, knowing your dog is as secure with me as they are with you, their pet parents. I love pet photography and will be sure to keep you up to date on their time with me. Please see my profile for all the dogs I've had the pleasure of caring for over the years. I have also completed a basic course in animal communication, and if you are interested or curious in that type of thing I am happy to provide details. This can be a great way to prep for my time with your pet.
Reviews
Olivia is very respectful of our home and it’s great to have such a trustworthy person taking care of our pets and house.
Olivia was great at staying with my pups. She’s very responsible and I felt comfortable leaving my dogs and my home in her care for a long weekend away. She left the place just as she found it and even put the linens in the washing machine. So thoughtful!
Super communicative. Sent pics everyday. Really loved having Olivia watch Taco. She was great!
Having Olivia sit for us was very comforting. I got pictures, check ins, and quick responses. The house was left as it was found. Thanks for taking care of our maple! ?

Your pet is my top priority, and I will always keep an eye on them to make sure they're safe and happy. I believe in only using force-free, positive training, so they are relaxed and happy. Exercise and play are important and I'll be sure to give them adequate recreation time.
Information Olivia C. would like to know about your pet
There are a few things I would like to know before you book: Does your dog like to chase or hunt small animals? This is a good thing to know for being out on a walk in a park. Does your dog have any allergies or sensitivities to food or treats? Are they comfortable being alone, and are they crate trained? Do they play well with others? I like to know who to watch for while on a walk. Do they have any behavior issues, past trauma, or fears? I want to make sure they're as comfortable as possible. Before you book, keep in mind my schedule and your dog's, if they'll have any extra needs for medication or food and play, and any thing you'd like me to know about your home and routine.
A typical day
A typical day starts with my morning coffee while I let your animal eat breakfast and use the potty. Every couple hours I'm able to provide a quick break for play, exercise, or treats. I enjoy exploring the neighborhood around each client's house and taking nice long relaxing walks after my work day is over, depending on what your pet needs. I'm happy to sit on the couch with them or go outside for a game of catch.

Availability
For housesitting, I stay overnight at your home and will be there 24/7, working remotely and providing all day care. I'll be your replacement while you're gone, ensuring your dog feels comfortable and happy the whole time. Sometimes I may need to make short trips to the grocery store, or an appointment here and there, but I'll always return back home to your dog!
